Spearheading the new concept is owner Patrick Doughtie, a local Murfreesboro resident and bagel aficionado. Although an exact grand opening date has not yet been announced, the business has recently put exterior signage on the building and is currently hiring team members. Boro Bagel may likely be open by the new year or later in January.

Photos on its Facebook and Instagram pages show a sneak peek of the modern and sleek interior space, including a large counter for customers to place orders. The business seemingly does not yet have a website created.

Murfreesboro has seen plenty of recent growth for food and beverage concepts in the area, such as Peach Cobbler Factory, Banh Appetite, and Eggs Up Grill all recently adding locations in town. Boro Bagels will be the latest addition to the neighborhood and promises to offer popular bagel toppings, unique flavors, and seasonings to offer something for everyone.

An interview with owner Patrick Doughtie is forthcoming. Customers can stay tuned for a grand opening date announcement on the business’s social media pages, Instagram and Facebook.
