NYC-based Blind Barber will occupy 3,300 square feet of the mixed-used development, according to Nashville Business Journal. It will be housed inside the Antiques Building at the Paseo South Gulch.

Founded in NYC in 2010, Blind Barber is a “neighborhood barbershop and lounge,” according to its website. Customers gets their hair cut while sipping on a cocktail.

Since its birth, Blind Barber has expanded to Chicago, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Nashville has been a part of the founders’ plans for quite sometime, cofounder Josh Boyd told What Now.

“We started working on this prior to the pandemic in 2018 and that obviously halted any plans.,” Boyd said. “This past year we spent putting it back on track with the help of SomeraRoad in Nashville and couldn’t be more excited.  We have a lot of friends in Nashville who encouraged us to open and any place with Music in its veins like Nashville is a place Blind Barber wants to be.”

While Boyd couldn’t disclose details surrounding design, he said people in Nashville can look out for a dance floor and fresh haircuts.
