According to recently filed permits, Starbucks is growing in the Green Hills neighborhood of Nashville with a third location in the area. The new cafe will be located at 4015 Hillsboro Pke. #100 in the Hills Center Green Hills shopping center, which also includes the recently opened Doughbird, Shake Shack, Whole Foods, Brandy Melville retail store, Williams and Sonoma home goods store, and fashion/home goods retailer Anthropologie.

News of another Starbucks location comes after permits for an 8th Ave. cafe were submitted earlier this month, replacing a former antique shop near Zanies Comedy Club.

Permits note that the project will require an interior tenant build-out valued at $425,000. It’s currently unknown when a projected opening timeline may be, however, when this location opens doors it will inevitably lessen the heavy foot traffic at its nearby locations inside The Mall at Green Hills and at 3706 Hillsboro Pike.

The Starbucks corporation has recently come under fire, demonstrated by unionized boycotts that happened last week protesting its infamous Red Cup Day, where the company hosts a promotion including a free reusable holiday cup with the purchase of a holiday drink.

Customers can keep in the know about upcoming Starbucks news on its website, Instagram and Facebook pages.
