According to new business applications filed with the Davidson County Clerk, three upcoming locations of the fast-growing franchise Just Love Coffee will soon open in three nearby neighborhoods: Marathon Village at 1200 Clinton St #25, Hermitage at 5570 Old Hickory Blvd #100, and on MTSU’s campus, all owned by local franchisees Annette and Tracy Vitela.
The timeline for opening will be Marathon Village in early September, MTSU in October, and Hermitage in December.
Vitela has kept busy with the brand, owning the Mt. Juliet location with her sister Annette since 2021. Originally wanting just one franchised location, Vitela described that the success of Mt. Juliet spurred an interest in expanding. When asked about what drew her to being involved in the business, Vitela stated that the community values shared by Just Love Coffee appealed to her.
“We really believe in community. At Mt. Juliet, we’ve been open for two and a half years and have been voted for a few different awards including winner of best breakfast with over 10,000 votes from customers in the local area. We really believe in feeling like you’re at home when you come into our shops,” said Vitela in a phone call with What Now Nashville.
Originally founded in Nashville by husband and wife team Rob and Emily Webb, Just Love Coffee grew from an idea in 2009, starting out solely online selling hand-roasted beans to now having nationwide locations across 16 states. The brand takes pride in its philanthropic values and donates often to charities.
“Just Love Coffee Cafe grew out of a need to do positive things in the world,” states the Just Love Coffee website.
As an all-day cafe, Just Love Coffee offers more than just java. Its food menu offered at each location varies from cinnamon rolls, chicken and waffles, breakfast tacos, BLTs and pulled pork sandwiches, as well as soups and salads.
