Turnbridge Equities, the New York-based real estate investment and development firm which bought property in the popular 12 South neighborhood of Nashville in May of last year, has announced Two Hands as one of its restaurant tenants in its future mixed-used building, Ashwood 12 South.
The address of the yet-to-be-built space will be 2206-2220 12th Ave. S. A grand opening date is unknown, although the building is not set to complete construction until 2024.
Two Hands currently operates one Nashville location in The Gulch and has one on the way inside The Factory at Franklin, which has recently been a hotspot for local eateries to expand.
The 12 South Two Hands is sure to draw a large customer base in the popular shopping and dining neighborhood. The new location will join other busy cafes such as Frothy Monkey, Portland Brew, and the just-opened Hearts.
Founded by husband-and-wife team Tara and Henery Roberts in 2014, Two Hands aims to support local farmers by sourcing fresh ingredients from various in-state purveyors.
“We aim to create welcoming spaces and fuel your lifestyle with fresh, delicious food, superior coffee, and an excellent bar program. We serve breakfast through dinner with a conscious approach to health and lifestyle. From coffee ’til cocktails, Two Hands presents a menu of well-traveled classics and fusion share plates,” states the Two Hands website.
The menu is expected to serve seasonally rotated, health-conscious dishes such as avocado toast, miso mushroom and salmon quinoa bowls, burgers, and a brunch menu. The 12 South location is expected to include a full bar as well.
