The all-day cafe, set to open its first location in Murfreesboro in the upcoming weeks, has already set its sights on expanding with its second location. Dapper Owl Coffee Pub and Bakery in Smyrna will open in the spring of 2024 at 311 Enon Springs Road.
Owner Tracy confirmed the upcoming location to What Now Nashville.
Tracy, her colleague Nina and her daughter Emily are the women-run team behind Dapper Owl. The concept will be a study-friendly coffee house by day and an event venue serving craft beer and live entertainment by night with a focus on supporting local brands, including using Frothy Monkey coffee beans, as reported by What Now Nashville earlier this month.
Pending the completion of its parking lot construction, Dapper Owl will open in Murfreesboro near Middle Tennesee State University in the next few weeks. The space will offer a welcoming, community-focused environment catering to students, athletes, artists, remote workers, and anyone who enjoys live entertainment and hand-crafted coffee.
It’s expected that the Smyrna location will also offer a craft beer menu similar to the Murfreesboro location, although due to the opening process still being in the very beginning stages, specific details are still pending permit approval. The food offerings will likely be similar, serving hand pies, avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and paninis.
