The popular Franklin-based bakery Five Daughters has announced another location coming to Music City, this time inside the Assembly Food Hall at Fifth and Broadway with a tentative opening timeline of fall 2023.
The new Five Daughters will have an address of 5036 Broadway, located directly above the retail store Ariat. The bakery is most well-known for its 100-layer croissant-donut fusion pastries called cronuts, but also offers a variety of baked goods made in-house at its four other Tennessee locations and two Georgia locations.

As a born and raised Nashville native, I am beyond honored to have a place in the heart of Broadway that is so committed to excellence and fun while still honoring the spirit of our great city! We look forward to contributing our artistry of donuts and pastries as we all work to elevate 5th + Broad and Nashville as the place to be!” stated founders Isaac and Stephanie Meek on a Five Daughters Instagram post.
Popular donut flavors at Five Daughters include The Purist which features a vanilla bean glaze, Chocolate Sea Salt, Maple Glaze, and the King Kong, which combines the Maple Glaze topped with bacon. There are also keto and vegan options available.
Five Daughters was founded in 2015 out of Isaac and Stephanie Meek’s home in Franklin, Tennessee. The husband-and-wife team has since expanded with six locations and named the company after their own five daughters, Dylan, Lucy, Maggie, Evangeline, and Constance. The couple started the bakery as a way to escape corporate life and bring the family closer together, according to The Tennessean.
