Described as “globally inspired cuisine,” the new location is set to open either winter of 2023 or early 2024.

The approximately 5,000-square-foot space will feature a dining room, bar area, private dining room and patio seating. The Nashville office of Matheny Goldmon is leading the project design, and Austin Benedict of Benedict Real Estate Company brokered the deal in conjunction with Holladay Properties, the developer driving the overall Factory revitalization, according to a press release announcing the expansion.

Chef and owner Deb Paquette is behind the success of the original etch, along with other local favorites such as etc, the smaller sister restaurant to etch, and Jasper’s.

Paquette has partnered with 4Top Hospitality in the ownership and operations of etch in The Factory at Franklin.

Doug Hogrefe, a partner at 4Top Hospitality, has stated that the location is a perfect fit for etch’s second restaurant.

“Deb and I have been looking in Williamson County for some time and just couldn’t find the perfect spot. Holladay’s vision for The Factory and the City of Franklin’s vision for the surrounding area is exactly what we have been looking for. We couldn’t be more excited to join this reimagining of The Factory and to bring the etch experience to Williamson County,” Hogrefe stated in the release.

It’s expected that this location of etch will serve lunch Monday through Friday and dinner Monday through Saturday. Some popular menu items at etch include the confit duck leg, venison, roasted cauliflower, and octopus and shrimp bruschetta.
