“After the overwhelming support we’ve received in Nashville, we can’t wait to share our passion for Mexican cuisine and culture with the Franklin community,” said Corona and Riggenbach in the release. The Nashville Business Journal first reported the new location.

Tío Fun specializes in a modern, approachable take on Mexican comfort food and debuted its first location in West Nashville late last year, as What Now Nashville previously reported.

Its menu encompasses a wide variety of dishes like breakfast tacos, corn in a cup, guacamole, queso, a Mexican pizza called Mexi-Izza, sandwiches, burgers, and Mikey’s Super Taco, which is an oversized flour-tortilla taco loaded with carne asada, potato, beans, cheese, and “a ton of love,” its website states.

Tío Fun also offers a unique beverage menu with highlights including margaritas, ranch waters, and carajillos, which mixes local cold brew from Frothy Monkey with Spanish liqueur, Licor 43.

Stay tuned for additional Tío Fun updates on its website and Instagram page.
