Berry Farms Town Center, said to be a sought-after 600-acre, mixed-use development for office, hotel, retail and residential space, will also be home to popular restaurants like Ludlow & Prime, Biscuit Love, and Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe.

The new location will be at 501 Sallie Pvt Ln. Edley’s owner Will Newman spoke to What Now Nashville about the newest developments for this location.

“We are shooting for the end of April to open,” Newman said.

“We are so excited about this location having Edley’s first ever drive-thru for our customers. Besides the drive-thru, everything else will be the same as our other locations. We will have a full bar option and counter service with a heavy timber patio with an outdoor fireplace,” Newman told What Now Nashville in an interview.

Known for its slow-roasted, smoked BBQ meats and homemade side dishes like grits casserole, baked beans, and potato salad, Edley’s has been a tried-and-true spot for locals since 2011, when it first opened in the 12 South neighborhood. The eight existing restaurants also include a small retail section for customers to purchase Edley’s merch as well as bottled BBQ sauces and spice rubs.

This will be one of two new Edley’s developments this year, the other one opening inside of The Factory at Franklin later this year, likely in the fall.

The Berry Farms location of Edley’s is expected to garner lots of local business in the Franklin area due to its convenient drive-thru option offering an alternative to fast food with its fresh, quality BBQ. Though, the drive-thru operation at the Berry Farms location likely won’t open immediately when the restaurant opens in order to allow staff time to train, as reported in a recent article from The Tennessean.
