The location will be inside the modern mixed-use development called Breeze Block, which combines shops, eateries, offices, and townhomes.

According to the permit, a large number of renovations will need to be made to convert the space into a full-scale bakery, which means the opening date is likely to be at least a few months out. Nashville-based ASD Sky is listed as the architect and the permit is valued at $195,000. Currently, the timeline to reopen is in July of this year.

Owned by Brittany Pulley and Danielle Worley, Nashville Sweets has been a local staple for the last ten years at its original location. This relocation will mean a new neighborhood and new customers in addition to its already loyal fanbase.

“We pride ourselves in creating fresh, consistent and delectable cakes with artistic modern designs and great attention to detail. Nashville Sweets is a boutique bakery and storefront that specializes in creating unique custom cakes and desserts that are both works of art and delicious,” states the Nashville Sweets website.

The bakery specializes in custom-made cakes for events like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and gender reveals. Some of their most well-loved flavors include Pink Champagne, which has a fluffy pink vanilla cake baked with pink rosé champagne with vanilla buttercream, Chocolate Salted Caramel, which has chocolate cake with chocolate mousse buttercream and salted caramel filling, and Birthday Cake, a vanilla cake baked with colorful sprinkles with vanilla buttercream. The bakery also offers cupcakes, macarons, cookies, mini pies, and cake pops.
