Earlier this summer, local hospitality group BPH Hospitality purchased a former residential building between The Buttermilk Ranch and Bottle Cap at 2405 12th Ave S. in Nashville’s growing neighborhood, 12 South. Plans for the space had not been revealed until now, according to building permits filed this week with Metro.

Though the yet-to-be-named restaurant does not have a timeline for opening, the renovations needed may take anywhere from six months to a year or longer.

Renderings submitted with the permit show an entirely reimagined and revamped space at the once-empty building, including a full-service restaurant and bar, a permanent food truck, over 1,400 square feet of outdoor seating with a new patio, and a neon yellow outdoor slide. Spearheaded by Josh and Tara Joseph, the BPH Hospitality portfolio is known for its impressive bars, including the recently opened Hank Williams Jr. Boogie Bar on Broadway.

Many of the details of the concept are still unknown, including any hints of the food and beverage offerings on its menu. It’s likely that the creative space will become 12 South’s latest energetic watering hole. BPH Hospitality officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment from What Now Nashville.
