The expansion is being led by Luis and Cyndi Cortes, who are also the franchise owners of the Woodbine and Mt. Juliet locations of Red Bicycle. Luis spoke to What Now Nashville about the excitement around bringing the brand to new heights.

“We are excited to continue to serve the diverse community of the Nolensville Corridor. We’ve spent the last year building relationships and creating a hub for the community down the road in our Woodbine location and this location will be an extension of the work we began there. Since joining the Red Bicycle family, we have seen the impact that a coffee shop can make in a community and to be able to invest in the city that has done so much for our family is truly a blessing,” Luis said in an email.

Though a grand-opening date has not yet been determined, the new Nolensville location is set to open by May, or this summer at the latest. Luis and Cyndi also have plans to open a second Mt. Juliet Red Bicycle location in 2024, and possibly expand the business to Knoxville, however, they are still in the early stages of the process. The Red Bicycle website also states a location will be opening soon in Franklin.

Originally, Red Bicycle was founded in North Carolina, then migrated to Nashville after CEO David Trett acquired the business in 2011. There are currently six locations open in Tennessee, with three confirmed locations slated for the future.

The menu at Red Bicycle features a wide array of all-day breakfast options such as sweet and savory crepes, breakfast tacos, french toast, sandwiches, pastries, and rotates between seasonally-flavored lattes. The year-round coffee menu offers favorites like americanos, cappuccinos, Cuban coffee, cold brew, matcha, chai lattes, and a variety of teas to choose from.
