A new location of Soulshine Pizza will be opening in early 2024 at 1921 Nashville Pike, according to permits and confirmed by CEO Donald Clifford.
Although an exact opening date is not yet known, the new location may open as early as late 2023 or early 2024, depending on construction and permitting timelines.
The pizza chain currently has one other Tennessee location in Franklin and used to operate a Midtown location that closed in 2018. There are two locations out of Mississippi, which is where the business originally got its start in 2001.
Known for its diverse array of gourmet pizzas, calzones, oven-baked sandwiches, and savory salads with a soulful Delta twist, Soulshine Pizza caters to both foodies and music lovers through its creative menu, murals, and live performances weekly at each location.
“We are excited to be implementing new ordering technology both online and in-store, making the ordering experience more efficient and easy for the customer. Covid-19 confirmed many operational innovations that the industry thought were on the horizon and are now a reality,” Clifford told What Now Nashville.
Some of its unique menu offerings include The Mississippian pizza, which combines BBQ sauce, pulled chicken, grilled chicken, smoked bacon, mozzarella, and pepper jack cheese, as well as the Muffaletta sandwich, made of sliced ham, mortadella, and salami, with olive dressing and mozzarella cheese.
