Alexis Soler‘s footprint on Nashville’s hospitality scene continues to grow. The bartender, business owner, entrepreneur, and designer has partnered with Drift Hotel to bring forth their multiple food and beverage programs. The upcoming hotel will see The Sun Room, Soler’s brainchild, as one of their dining options. The concept will serve creative cocktails and Spanish-influenced fare, according to an article from The Tennessean.
Drift Hotel’s website shares the opening timeline will be March 2024, just in time for early springtime poolside hangouts while sipping handcrafted cocktails from The Sun Room, which will offer curated vibes, impeccable design, and vacay-inspired food and drinks for hotel guests and locals to partake in. An exact grand opening date for The Sun Room is to be determined.
“This bar and restaurant at the 114-room Drift Nashville will have a mid-century design with a modern, airy feel, floor-to-ceiling east and west-facing windows, a golden-tiled bar by Red Rock Tileworks and comfortable lounge seating. The afternoon-to-evening hangout will serve what Soler called a variety of ‘light, effervescent’ craft cocktails,” states The Tennessean article. Some of the dishes on the future menu may include oysters and patatas bravas, the article adds.
Although more specific menu details are still a mystery, The Sun Room is certain to become one of Nashville’s coolest go-to bars. An interview with Soler to provide additional detail is forthcoming.
