Charlotte-based Chex Grill & Wings is expanding to Nashville with an additional location, this time at 2530 Murfreesboro Pike, marking the second location for the chain in the Volunteer State. Recently filed building permits show the space will encompass 1,500 square feet with no change to the original footprint of the building.
An exact opening timeline for the location is unknown, however, permits indicate the building process will be complete by the end of July.
Chex Grill & Wings is also planning to open a location in The Nations at 5101 Illinois Ave. The business has 12 locations in North Carolina with three more on the way, including a location in Raleigh. This will be the first out-of-state expansion for Chex Grill and Wings.
Founded in 2014 by Khaled Hussain Shamma, Chex offers over 40 different chicken wing flavors as well as sub sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps, fries, and shrimp, according to an online menu. Its website states that the company’s vision is to become one of the top-performing food chains in the country.
